Cambridge Brain Sciences (CBS) is a world leader in providing scientifically proven web-based tools for the assessment of cognitive function.
The CBS concept was developed by Doctors Adrian Owen and Adam Hampshire during their time at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge England. CBS has since moved to the Brain and Mind Institute at Western University in London Ontario Canada where development of web-based assessment platforms is focused in two areas: a) scientific investigation including clinical and pharmaceutical trials and b) tools that allow members of the public to assess their memory, attention, reasoning and planning. More than 200,000 CBS assessments have been completed on adults across the globe and dozens of research trials are currently taking place using the CBS platform.
